I'm really just wondering what can help me get through the ranks quicker. I guess it depends more on what kind of jobs I apply for. I was planning to take the ICND1 this week and then go for Microsoft in a couple of months. I'm just anxious to enter IT and I figured I need to get cerified to work on an OS. I've already spent so much time prepping for Cisco, though, that I guess I'll sticik with that route.

I notice a lot of people take the one exam and then wait a while before taking the second, time spent not being a CCNA when they could have taken one exam and earned the credential.
