70-410 i'm a noob

What is the best approach to study for this exam if you are a noob currently I have no books looking on amazon there are two books

The reviews for both books don't really fill me with confidence has anyone used either?

You sent the same link twice. Anyway, I am using that same book right now and will take the exam soon. I notice there are several mistakes in the book and there is an errata page on their web site. Still, I think it should have been proofread better. The problem is, not many books around at the moment. I also have the CBT Nuggets video training and you will need some kind of test environment to get some hands-on experience.

That second book is not geared specifically towards the exam and it may miss out vital things on the exam, or you may be studying things that are unnecessary for the exam. Stick with the first book, check the errata, look at MS TechNet, check the exam objectives, set up a test environment. I have heard that this is not too difficult an exam, though I don't know myself yet.

You can also use Oreillys book Windows Server 2012 Up and Running to gather general knowledge of the OS before starting to prepare for certification.

For certification besides the Ms Press book you can also use CBTNuggetts and Trainsignal.

The 410 is not a difficult exam, read the MS Press Exam Ref, TechNet, and spend some time on labs and you will not have too many issues with it.
