Office365 074-324 exams scheduled for Friday morning

I have the Office 365 SMB exam scheduled for Friday. I have just done the videos and the pdf's on MS website, any advice on what else I need to touch up? I have not seen any practice exams for it so I cant really tell what to expect in the exam.

I sat this test for the 2nd time and passed it.

I can't say exactly what's on the exam as that would break NDA but I can say learn the little details.

The video's do take you a good majority of the way but take the time to read around general service descriptions online. The trap you can fall in is thinking that just skimming through the video's and thinking you know it, they test you on the little details that you might miss or gloss over and that's the difference between a 600 and a passing score.

Thanks for the heads up. I will spend a bit more time understanding user roles, service plans, migration paths/troubleshooting and lastly try to have a good understanding of hybrid environments because I am sure in the real world I might come across them.

I know it is being advertised heavily by Microsoft but I am still to see a job description where Office 365 experience is needed.

Last year about a third of my work was Office 365 projects, while this year it looks to be two thirds or more. All of the projects are POCs or migrations, which is really what we do as consultants. Nobody is looking to hire me to manage their Office 365 hybrid server.

I took the 321 and 323 exams in beta last year and somehow passed them to earn the Office 365 MCITP. I'm not sure how I passed them since they were about an even split between Exchange and Sharepoint, must have been a few lucky guesses. I used the Office 365 Deployment Guide for Enterprises to supplement the partner training I attended. I don't know if the Enterprise guide will be helpful for the Small Business exam. I also do not know if the exam has been updated to use Exchange 2010 SP2 and the Hybrid Configuration Wizard or if the integration and deployment are still based on the old SP1 method. Does the 324 exam even cover federated identity?

74-324 is a dumb downed version of the MCITP specifically aimed at small business users with only a cursory coverage of federation.

It has the 74 prefix as it's primarily for MPN competency fulfillment and if you pass you get a Microsoft Specialist certification HOWEVER it does NOT count towards the MCITP.

MS had a free voucher run at the start of the year so it was worth it then but if you're coming from scratch best to get the MCITP instead.

Passed the exam today and I only had less than 6 days to prepare. I would never had looked at Office 365 if I had not got a free exam voucher but I am happy with some of the stuff I have learnt. I am surely loving Powershell and administering servers in Powershell.
