ICND1 and ICND2 Renewal

If I pass my ICND2, would that renew my ICND1 (CCENT) too? Also, to renew my ICND2 in 3 years, would I have to take a cummulative exam like the full CCNA to renew both of my ICND1 and ICND2, or could I just take the ICND2 again to renew them?

Yes you are correct, you can take any current ICND2 exam at that time to renew your old ICND2 Cert. I have attached Cisco's CCNA Re-certification page to help with any further questions.

And the CCENT, you can take it every three years and never get your CCNA and still be Certified from what I read. I would think you would want to move on to CCNA. But some Jobs may not require that your CCNA? I have also attached CCENT Re-certification as well.

Awesome, thank you for the links. Don't get me wrong, I don't ever plan on taking the CCENT again. I was just curious as to whether that also gets renewed if I renew my ICND2.
