Guest OS Pagefile

Anyone see a problem using independent nonpersistent disk for guest OS pagefile and temp files? Snapshots will be quicker since independent disks are ignored. Backups using snapshot should be faster as well. Since the disk is nonpersistent, it'll clean itself every time the server is rebooted.

Some backup software like Veeam ignore Pagefiles anyway. But I see one issue with tempfiles - a lot of installs putting their data into the temp folder, reboot and continue the install.

So in cases like this, the install will certainly fail as it wont be able to find the temporary install files any more.

Thanks. I was wondering about it.
