Web-Based practice exams? (I'm using Linux)
VIDEODROME
Some of the study kits I've seen seem to include reading material or videos plus practice exam software. Usually, the software seems to require Windows.
My personal computers are running Linux at the moment, so I wondered if an online exam done through my browser would be the most convenient way for me to have a current CompTIA 800 series practice exam.

You can also download Virtualbox, create Windows VM and run the software on there.

The A+ exams are Windows-centric, so you're going to generally find that any software relating to the tests assume you're running Windows. (Of course, a lot of study-guides assume the same thing for Linux+, but that's a whole different story.)
I think TechGuy215's advice of running a Windows VM is your best bet.

Okay, thanks for the feedback.
I wonder if any of these would work in WINE?

Lol. I actually haven't seen Brood but I saw RABID. That was really weird.
