Anyone sat the new VCP550 (vSphere 5.5) exam?

I'm VCP4-DCA certified and trying to convince my company to pay for the What's New [4.x to 5.5] course so I can sit the VCP5 exam. I see that this exam is now available and I'd like to take the latest one. I realize that the 510 and 550 courses both result in the VCP5-DCA cert, just curious if anyone here has sat for the 550 exam and what your thoughts are??

I recently passed the VCP5-DCV(5.0 I believe) and VCP5-DT.. I personally wouldn't bother with 5.5... Don't think there's enough change to really make it worth doing.. If however, I didn't have the VCP5, I'd probably do it, would be worth it.

My take: If you don't have a VCP5 already, then go for the 5.5, If you do - wait for the VCP6.

As I understand it if you're already VCP5 you won't get the approval from VMware to sit the VCP 5.5 exam.

Current VCP5-DCV holders who passed the VCP510 exam CAN take the VCP550 if they wish - they don't need to of course as has already been mentioned... You might want to say you've passed VCP510 and VCP550 as it shows you have current knowledge on 5.5

I won't put myself through the agonizing torture that was the VCP5 until v6 comes out. Good luck to those on VCP5.5 though.

Thanks Scott, must admit that I was under the impression that you couldn't sit both exams so thanks for the clarification.
