A+ question?
eddyfalmaguer
Hello everyone. I am A+ certified. However in three years my certification will expire. I know that when my certification expire, I have to pass the two test again to be certified for three more years or pass a higher level certification like Network +. Do you know a free way to gain CEUs credits in Comptia's Continuing Education Program, and complete the 20 CEUs required for renewal? I hope to hear from someone. Thanks

I've heard you can get (don't quote me on this) 4 credits or so from Professor Messer's live lectures, not sure if you can get any from his online classes. Definitely worth checking out though.

I'm sure you're not planning to stick with A+ cert only, if not, as you progress to other higher exams like Microsoft or Cisco certifications your A+ cert will be automatically updated because you have written the most recent higher exam. If you have completed all higher cert that you plan to achieve in the future and then you get to a point where all the certs you have obtain expire even the lower ones (A+, Net+, Sec+), you can take a higher exam of that cert (MCSA/E, CCNA, CEH) that exam can update the lower cert that you have obtained, you don't have to rewrite each and every exam when your certs expire.
Take a look at the CompTIA website for more information on how you can upgrade lower cert through higher exams:
