Laser Printing (801) Cleaning or fusing?

Is the last step of laser printing the cleaning or fusing?
I read somewhere that cleaning happens first sometimes.

I don't think the order really matters, but from what I read in the Exam Cram book, Cleaning is first.

the steps are : 1. processing 2.charging 3.exposing 4.developing 5. transferring 6.fusing and 7. cleaning

Cleanings also considered first in some books (Exam Cram for example).

I do recall a practise question where the order was relevant though.
