what path should i take?

Bsc network security + Msc information security + ccna + ccna security + msca + cissp etc

OR

Bsc computer science + Msc information technology + ccna + msca etc

I just recently graduated with BSc and hoping to start my Msc in sept. I have the option to opt for general computer science BSc or a network security specialization.

I'm scared of putting myself in a corner with the specialization but maybe it's a good thing?

I'm also very interested in the job prospective of the two paths. I have no work experience yet. I'm 25 years old.

no one can really answer this except you, it would be ok to get just comp science if your not sure what you want to do, then specialize w/ certifcations

Many professional engineer's dont even require a BA/BS degree as experience can help w/ that

I'd personally go the Computer Science route, as I see that as a pre-req for a lot of higher end IT job postings I see, so that would open a lot of interview doors for you at the very least. You'd be doing yourself a huge favor going with Computer Science, unless your passion is on the Security side, then security would make more sense from an educational stance.

I really like Network security since I only have to perfect my knowledge in one domain but it also means I have to take several certs like CCNA, CCNA Security, CISSP to really become master of the domain, and that's just to name a few.

I actually have not known anyone with a Masters degree that I've worked with, so I couldn't speak on that too much, but it seems that type of higher level education is if your aiming for a management / director type of position. I'd get through a Bachelors and see how you feel about continuing down that course or pursuing other avenues of higher education (certifications).

I've completed my BSc but just haven't applied for the certificate itself. I think my confusion is whether to go for a general Computer science BSc + MSc IT and then specialize with certs OR to have a specialized degrees and continue the path with certs.

Well I can't seem to get any entry level job with my BSc (I state "BSc in Network Security" in my CV), so I'm currently studying for CCNA and hopefully start MSc in sept.
