CCNA Security Best Book?
watermelonss
Hey everyone!
If CCNA R/S is equal to Todd Lammle's book, what book is to CCNA Security?
Thanks

I don't think one exists. There's the official Cert Guide, but it's almost word-for-word the same as the Net Academy material. And boy is it dry.

The OCG or the netacad course.

And... pick up the CCNAS portable command guide as well. It's useful.

I would think the OCG and CBT Nuggets would be a good combo. Keith Barker wrote the OCG and did the CBT series. I haven't gone through both yet but he is pretty darn knowledgeable.

I used the OCG to pass. Can't argue with the results.

OCG is missing some stuff, I would suggest that you supplement it with the Portable command guide.

I personally used the Portable Command Guide a lot myself.

I used the OCG and CBT Nuggets for the most part. However, Chris Bryant has a course on Udemy that is really thorough.

I haven't gone through Bryant's full course yet but I bought it for $10 last week...normally I think $99.

What is OCG?

WGU provides the OCG and CBT Nuggets along with the Skillsoft practice exams. Hopefully between those I can pass.
