Depends on the DC you are working for.

Assuming you mean "VMware" and not "vm-ware"

vm with the new nsx should be a very interesting technology, but I have read a lot of job advert seeking for juniper at least in UK.

It'll be a while before most DC start deploying NSX.

Bottom line - Don't go a direction because you can see x-amount of job adverts. By the time you are read to do either job, the market may have moved on so do what you need to do to make you happy .. You won't be good in a job unless you enjoy it ...

Honestly, I would go for both.

VCP and VCAP are on my list right after CCNP DC.

After just working in a data-center myself and after talking with a number of datacenters engineers, NSX won't be jumped on anytime soon. Implementing new technology is slower in a data-center. Basically you have to deal with compatibilities and engineering while keeping the data-center operational. I think the rule of thumb I heard from a data-center engineer in 10 months after a product is released before it's implemented into a data-center.
