Nice. Maybe I'll look at that later this year. I got the exam approval, but I didn't have a chance of finishing it by 2/28 -

I thought I had read somewhere that VMWare had nixed the whole "ccna in place of having to take the class". I'll have to go double-check now.
Ahh, I don't even remember what I had googled before work this morning when I (maybe?) stumbled across it. I thought I had seen Scott's avatar in the comments though, so perhaps he has better memory than I about this...

Only for VCP-DCV, not Network Virtualization.. which i dont intend on going past getting the VCP-NV anyway..
CCNA will waive VCP-NV course requirements and allow you to take the exam and certify you.
I've also contacted VMware this morning and confirmed twice. -

Yeah, I realized after my (second) edit that you might not be doing this to bypass the class-requirements for the DCV, but I didn't want to do a 3rd edit

There are plenty of resources out there on the blogs mate, don't wait for the official guide, who knows how good it's going to be.I would like to go after this if I can fit it in before next Jan.
