Thanks everyone! My CompTIA certs have all been pretty affordable and economical based on early expiry vouchers and the $99 ProctorU deal.

You know - I was actually afraid I was going to fail because I was so drained/tired from taking ICND1/CCENT the day before I pretty much quit with 2 minutes left on one last simulation question (probably only got 25% correct). I kinda was anticipating a Fail (kicking myself a lil bit for not studying more) but seeing Congratulations/Pass was definitely a sense of relief.

I'm happy I probably scored 95% without that last simulation question. And I got lots of them...like "ok...let's flag it and come back. *click* "another simulation...another...another?!" I think I had around 10.

Congratulations! There were a lot of simulations on mine too. After about the 5th or 6th one in a row I was like "Really?". How did the CCENT compare in difficulty? Was it more difficult or about the same?

CCENT is quite a bit more difficult compared to Network+ because of general ambiguity and specific commands in IOS. Also, sometimes the plausible choices in the MC section tend to be strategically worded so all choices might seem correct if not for some minute detail.

All in all, I gained more respect for Network+ as it proved a lil more difficult than I expected but it's super easy in comparison to CCENT which I just barely missed passing. Darn it!

I'm currently studying with the testout/labsim and was wondering if I should add some reading materials on top of it.

I actually didn't use any study guides/text for this one. I reviewed 568A/B wiring schemes and connection distances though.

I think - if the material is fairly new to you - I'd be wise to get more reading material to supplement your lab work.
