Damn course is going to be $1800 if I do the live online course, or $4000 if I do the 5 day. Don't think work will bother about paying for me.

Wonder how long until Stanly starts offering vSphere 6 courses?

So for current VCPs you can take either, full or delta??

Authorized for the Beta Exams. Except, when I log in to PearsonVue, I get an error stating that the exam is currently not available.

Pretty cool thing, If you have sat any of the 5.x courses, but have not received a VCP cert, you are eligible to just sit the "What's New".

Also, we don't have any What's New classes in Australia yet. But, they are ridiculously expensive.

I've asked Josh about pdfs of the blueprint as the new way kind of sucks. I always mark off on a printout what sections I have studied and covered in revision.

I must say I am happy they have brought the number of questions below the time frame. That 5.5 was a killer, I didn't pass because I missed the last couple of questions and rushed the rest.

I just logged in and am able to schedule but at $130 Aussie dollars I might just pass. The beta's listed at $50 USD here. $50USD =/= $130AUD, dunno what's going on..

It's $65 if you just convert it at the current Exchange rate. but $130 is a little bit higher.

I will still do it.

Considering they just started 5.5 ICM Jan 1st 2015, probably not for another year.

Yeap, got $130, but it is still better than the full Exam price. I wonder who we need to complain to about it?

Could only get May 1. At least the mastering book should be out by then. Will also write to vue and VMware about prices. Always the same

Don't forget that the final cost includes tax (VAT in the UK)...

And if you think the beta exams are costly, they're still cheaper than the final ones will be...

The move away from PDFs for the blueprint is a good one - the website pages are now the single source of truth.

I know there is always sales tax in the US but I don't think any state in the US got a 248% sales tax on those $50

The prices were briefly higher than $50USD in the US - you all still see higher prices outside the US?

I see $36GBP in London, $54AUD in Sydney for the Delta exam by going to Pearson and picking a random test site in those cities.

Authorized for the beta exam yesterday, does anyone know how long the beta exam will be available? I don't have time to study for it this month i guess, any chances of taking it in May? Can't find it on the website, only found something like "VMware ends the beta period if they reach their target amount of taken exams."

Latest one I got here was May 21 - hoping to get my hands on the Mastering vSphere 6 Book before the exam ..

May27 and slots are filling fast.
