CCFP vs CHFI

Hi,
I want to pursue and gain knowledge in the area of computer forensics. The renowned certifications in this area are CHFI and CCFP. Can anyone give their views on which one can add more value.

Also, I believe CHFI does not require any annual maintenance fee as is required to be paid after one becomes a CCFP ($100 per year)

EC Council implemented a annual maitenance program recently that includes CHFI. See https://cert.eccouncil.org/ece-policy.html.

I don't know much about the CCFP but can say that CHFI is the absolute worst test I've taken in my life and my personal opinion is that it's not worth the money they are charging for it.

Cyber's link indicates that as of Jan 1 there is an annual fee for maintaining certs with ECE. That wasn't part of the agreement when I took my EC-Council exams, but if people pay it...

I think EC Council just thinks up cools names for certs, then just throws as test together
