Should I take the offer or keep looking

I'm trying to understand, you currently make 24.24 and you were offered a position that makes 49.76.. a whooping 103% raise and you came here to ask if you should do it... um unless further pending details, I would re-soundly say YES!

Is it more than you make now? Are you employed? Do you think it will give you the experience you need to get where you want to be? I don't think anyone would be able to give guidance without a bit more information and background.

I currently make 20 an hour at a help desk

I have a BA degree in Computer Technology
2 years in Help Desk
Live in LA

If im assuming 24.24 is around the salary estimate i made but that does not include any overtime unless I go over 40 hours

Not sure If I should still look around or take it

My career path is being a Desktop Manager or IT Business Anaylst

I think they mean 49,760 a year with 24 an hour (math is closer to that than 24.24 which is an odd hourly rate)

My question to OP is, if you are currently working is this an increase in pay? I work those same hours, close to same job description and I make about 10 less an hour, so for me personally I would take it.

Since this is an approximate 20% bump in pay, it seems like a no-brainer to me. Having said that, though, do you think becoming an MCSA: Windows 7 is doable, for you, in the next six months? That would be the only thing that I would have to think about, quite honestly.

Im studying for the exam actually as we speak so far I got the book for it.
I haven't got a chance to play with the Labs yet or anything like that?
Are there any online labs I can do to get familiar with the MCSA Windows 7?
For the two exams it looks very easy but then again I have never taken Microsoft exams

you can get the W7 in a month (2 if you're slow), its honestly not that difficult a test

Sounds like a no brainer to me as well. Especially if the company will pay for the cert also.
