Axelos says there are 4 levels to the qualification scheme..
But the website shows 5 levels.. There is a new one called ITIL Practitioner. Does anyone know if this is required before the intermediates yet?

The ITIL Practitioner certification is currently in development by AXELOS - it doesn't exist as a course you can take yet. You can read the FAQs about Practitioner here: https://www.axelos.com/qualifications/itil-qualifications/itil-practitioner-level
Kind regards

Claire do you know if you can self study to obtain the practitioner level or do you have to attend training? I was looking to expand upon ITILF but all tracks after that require training. -

The current plan is to allow self-study, but as the scheme isn't finalised there is a small possibility that will change.
Kind regards

The Practitioner guidance book will be available Feb 2016 and the exam can be purchased from any of AXELOS's exam institutes around that date too. It will be worth 3 credits towards ITIL Expert.
