Hello
please can someone help me to get internet connection on my hyper v 2012 r2. I want to have Internet connection on my vm ,to get that I need Internet to the hyper v server first .any advice will be appreciated.

Did you setup a virtual switch in Hyper-V? Do you have one or two NICs?
Basically, you need to create a virtual switch and configure it for External. Then you need to configure the VM to use that virtual switch. -

I'm assuming then that your laptop is your hyper-v server?I just have one NIC in my laptop .
If it is... What you'll need to do is create an External virtual switch, using that NIC to create the switch. Then what you'll need to do is create a new network adapter for use in the host (laptop) OS using the Add-VMNetworkAdapter with the -ManagementOS switch. That should give the OS a virtual NIC from which to connect, and provide your VM access through that same switch.2016 Goals --
