Passed ITIL® Foundation Level 9/6/15

Finally took the exam today (online-proctored on PeopleCert) after taking training up to Expert Level last fall.

Scored 36/40.

I used CBT Nuggets training videos to refresh on some topics/definitions but the exam was pretty easy.

Thanks! I studied for about a day and finished the exam in under 20 minutes. No practice exams - just reviewed process diagrams.

Probably around 8 hours watching CBT Nuggets and taking notes on the lifecycle (2 hrs the night before and 6 hrs the day of). I had to take breaks since the material can be pretty dry at times.

fuz1on, congrats on the pass!

I too was able to knock this over a few months back, using primarily the CBT Nuggets series and also a bit of common sense lol was certainly one of the easier exams

niles312 - thanks. yup - it doesn't hurt that i worked in large enterprise that used ITIL/ITSM processes.

Nice! Congrats! I'm going for Intermediate/Expert now since I finished the coursework. Groupon has accredited training for $99 (I used GoGoTraining in Arizona) if you need it.

Interesting, didnt know you could do the whole course for $99, although I am in the UK. Will you do the exams through EXIN anywhere then?

My focus will be MS certs, but I was thinking of doing the Prince2 Exams next year, maybe ITIL after that.

I took training online from two different places (GoGoTraining and CareerAcademy) which were both pretty affordable. I'm not sure about when/where I'm going to take the exams yet - either online through EXIN or, hopefully, get a good deal on a voucher for a Pearson Vue location.
