Re: certification
As others have stated, I’d recommend CompTIA’s A+ certification first. I would not spend money on a class for the certification. Professor Messer’s videos, a good book, and practice tests over at examcompass.com are more than enough to pass this test with minimal costs. Videos: Professor Messer's CompTIA 220-801/802 A+… -

Re: Failed Security+ Help!!!
I bought the CompTIA bundle which included the CertMaster software which has over 800 questions over the material of the objectives, a Sec+ exam voucher, and a retake Sec+ exam voucher, all for like $378. I didn't need the retake due to scoring a 786 on the exam. CompTIA Marketplace I also participated on YouTube channel… -
Re: NMAP ipidseq script
Here is verbose: Still no indication of IP ID Sequence. Time to dissect the script I guess and figure out what logic results in not giving any info. Starting Nmap 5.51 ( Nmap - Free Security Scanner For Network Exploration & Security Audits. ) at 2011-02-16 19:36 Central Standard Time NSE: Loaded 1 scripts for scanning.… -
Re: Should I start Security+?
I suggest that you do a little skimming to get your thoughts lined up a bit better. Right now, Sec+ exam guides aren't very popular, so you can pick one up second-hand pretty cheap at http://half.ebay.com/search/search.jsp?nthTime=2&product=books&query=Server%2B&x=3&y=15 Get one and do a quick read through it. All-In-One… -

Re: 1st CCIE lab attempt blog and help for candidates.
A useful couple of hours finishing the OSPF and redistribution section on the home rack for Duggan lab no 3. The experience is flowing much better than when I last encountered a Duggan lab, no 2 back in March. So the hardwork is paying off and Im much more on the ball with everything and understanding things better. The…
