Re: Student Experiences at Western Governors University (WGU)
I was 34 when I got my first Bachelor's. Don't stress over it. Just do your best. The important thing is you've gone back to school to better yourself. With 30 days left, I wish you the best in knocking out as many classes as you can, but CCNA, Win7 and possibly the JAVA and Database courses might be difficult in 30 days.… -
Re: Student Experiences at Western Governors University (WGU)
So after almost 72 hours, my QLT1 task 5 came back complete. 6 to go. Submitted LUT1 task 2, and realized how crappy my upload speed really is. About 50% through IWT1 task 2, slow painful going. My wife works the next 3 days, but I go on call for a week starting Wednesday. Provided none of my tasks come back to me, I… -
Re: Student Experiences at Western Governors University (WGU)
I sent an email to the guy that's covering for Dr. Vance. I haven't heard back from him. (Called and emailed him...it's been over that 4 hours.) I think I'm going to be done with my "idea paper" within one hour, and that's assuming I'm not interrupted with work." After I send my paper to him and my regular mentor, I'm… -

When you say "Project" in "Tech, Project, Cap" is the project part of Capstone, or Tech Writing? If I have to do an additional step, I don't mind that....but it's whatever.… -
Re: Student Experiences at Western Governors University (WGU)
My arm is killing me, have been typing most of the day. Have only two more sections of tech writing to complete before submission. Had to take a couple of weeks off, life issues popped up. I really need to finish both tech and cap by the 28th, as the 29th and 30th I have firewall training and certification, followed by the… -
Re: Student Experiences at Western Governors University (WGU)
It's not as bad as I thought it would be. I'm pretty much dead against math completely, but the QLT1 tasks aren't super difficult. HHT1 is considerably more complex, at least in my eyes. Took my 2nd pre-assess on GAC1 today, still not a pass, but not far off. Wife will be home tomorrow night, going to work on LUT1, hope to…
