From my understanding, "IT Security" seems to be more along the lines of auditing, penetration testing, or even malware analysis. Get your A+, Net +, Sec+ 1st and then get your CCNA from Cisco. You could get the CCNA: Security, but it's recommeneded you get the R&S 1st. Then after that, you should have about a years worth of certfications on your belt and go for a CASP or CISSP and get a security roled job. However the reasoning for the 3 CompTIA's… -
