You can call yourself whatever you want right now: pentester, security guru, almighty security cool guy of all things IT that have blingy lights, etc. IT in a lot of places is not a regulated industry. As a result, certifications are not mandatory. Some of the best pentesters out there have never even taken a single cert.… -
