Good advice above. CISSP is more of a security management/analyst role. CCIE/CCNP Security is hands on/engineering. TBH the 'sweet spot' assuming you don't want to go down the hardcore propellor route (but you very well may judging by your courses already) is to do the CISSP and do up to CCNP Sec on the side. It depends, if you are looking to be in a technical position then go CCIE Security. If you don't like as much hands on, then I would go for CISSP. Both of them are very good certificate but the CCIE will take you much longer to complete then the CISSP. I've seen a couple of people pass the CISSP in 3 month of studying but… -
