Information Systems Security - Where to start

I am interested in Information Systems Security, but I do not know where to start. I did not graduate from Computer Science college. I know only the basics of the computer, anyone can do, beside some XHTML and CSS skills. Do I need to take any certifications before Information Systems Security certification?[h=1][/h][h=1][/h]
