74-409 Hyper-V expiry question. I have to retake the test in less than a year?

Just realized when I was browsing around my account on prometric, the 409 exam expires in 323 days from the date I took the exam. So I have less than a year to renew it? It this a joke? 
I had to double take to see if I misread it. I didn't misread it, it expires in early 2015, exactly 323 days after I had taken the exam.
Is it the same for everyone else who took the free MS virtualization squared offer?

I don't know what the answer to your question is but I wouldn't go with the information on Prometric's website. Ask Microsoft directly. Microsoft's certification websites are currently down so I can't check. I remember Prometric stating that the 70-412 was a 3 hour exam and I was worried until I checked Microsoft's website. -

Sudoer don't worry about it, I just checked my Prometric candidate history and it's the same for all of my exams that I took, it says the exam expires a year or less after it was taken. I'm sure there is some reason for it but I don't know why they have it there... The only one that matters is your Microsoft transcript. -

I took that to mean I had a year from registering for the exam to take it, if I did not take it in that time then they can invalidate the purchase and make me pay again to take it. Mine shows the exact same as Asif Dasl.
