Copied DVDs

Hey wonder if anyone can help? Got a laptop with xp installed. it used to play copied DVDs fine but then all of a sudden stopped. Does anyone know why this might be the case?anything to do with an update or something? thanks

lol no its jus the copied dvds that dont work anymore, although saying that iv managed to get 1 to work?? jus using windows media player 10, not sure if they have brought an update out that prevents copied dvds from playing!! Normal ones play fine
