a+ certifications

folks, i was told that the a+ certifitcation is about to become obsolete.
anyone heard any such rumors? where would network+ be?

    I heard the opposite actually. I heard Comptia is going to split up the A+ even further (mo $) targeting different concentrations.

    A+ is not going anywhere. They just recently upgraded the exams.

    Where did you here this? Have a source of this information? Or was it water-cooler gossip?


    As far as where would NET+ be? Where would it go? It test different objectives than A+ or Server+.


    Provide a source, then we can look into further. Otherwise, there isn't anything I can find on CompTIA's site -that's the best source for CompTIA info that I'm aware of.

    Sounds like water-cooler gossip indeed. A+ is CompTIA's flagship, it's not going anywhere.
