securitytech123
Hello:
I'm trying to determine the best/most current Microsoft exam for leaning Active Directory. Any advice would be appreciated.

well the MCSA 2012 would be the most current. Unfortunately it spreads active directory content across 70-410, 70-411 and 70-412 quite evenly, covering different features and building upon each other. Start with 70-410 and work your way up and you will have a strong understanding of AD along with a variety of other areas in Server 2012 R2.
good luck!

Thanks for that advice Glenn. Appreciated. I'm trying to get my MCSA so I can contract overseas.

Just a bit of information. If you are certified MCSA 2008 or MCSA Win 7 (
MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7,
70-680/686), you can take the bridge exam 70-417, which covers 70-410/411/412, just condensed.
