Any prerequisites to Network+?
I am a computer/network tech with 4.5 years experience in IT. I would like to move into more of a network admin type role and would like to get at least 1 certificate before. I would also like to show that I am willing and able to continue my education since I graduated college in 2007. Can Network+ be your first certification?

Yes of-course, many people in this forum started with network+ as their first tech certification, according to my knowledge there are no prerequisites to network+, network+ is only an entry level certification in fact almost all CompTIA certification are level cert.

Ok I will do just that! I have a network + dvd with training videos from trainsignal, but I forgot the guys name that made them. I will probably pickup a book to help too. What's a good one to choose?
