Suppliers vs Administrators: Much Learning, Little Application
Challenge me, please: Isn't it a downside of working in an IT department that often you spend much time (including at home) to improve your skills so the company can implement a technology and as soon as it runs, basically all you're supposed to do is watch it. So to say, you did put much effort in being able to work with that thing and all you get is a one-time mission.
And now the opposite: You work for a supplier, a company selling products to users such as admins. If you work hard on handling more complex products, you can make use of your skills many times.
