You would be surprised how many actually still have the default admin codes on them. I used to work as a field tech for a large ATM service company, a lot of smaller places always had the default admin codes still. This doesn't give you access to any of the money or the ability to open the ATM safe, but you can see how much money is in the ATM and print out a list of transactions with the customers name (the account information only shows the last 4 digits), and do some other things like change the color scheme and background image.
Smart kids for figuring that out at only 14!
