Virtual Paging Service Ideas?

Does anyone know of or is currently using a virtual paging service for their IT department?

Basically when people call the IT extension before or after work hours(9 to 5, Monday - Friday) and leaves a voicemail we want to receive a notification in the form of a text message to our phones displaying what was said in the voicemail.

I like xMatters - Mass Notification, IT Alerting & Mobility | xMatters, inc. | xMatters, inc. if you are looking for a commercial enterprise solution.

There is also an open source solution called OpenNMS - OpenNMS | The OpenNMS Project which I looked at a few months ago. It looked promising but I didn't play around with it much.

BTW - in the past - we just setup a voicemail box that just sends an email to an on-call group. That was a very simple but effective solution.
