eigrp question - network command
From pg 59 CCNP route
router eigrp 1
network 10.1.0.0 0.0.31.255
network 10.1.2.2 0.0.0.0
Why is the 10.1.2.2 0.0.0.0 necessary? Isnt it under the range of 10.1.0.0 0.0.31.255?
Dont understand why there is extra step

tomtom1 Member Posts: 375Which book are you referring to? The 10.1.2.2/32 network falls under the previously configured network statement but without the context it's hard to say why the extra step was taken.

Pls refer to the page here. The commands are also there.
My forum friend says that 10.1.2.2 is the router loopback address.
However, I am not sure.
It is not specified in the question so how will I know if it is true?
