74-409 Voucher not working

Back in February I received a confirmation email with my voucher code attached for the free 74-409 exam. Today I went to register and I got 'The voucher XXXXXXX, is expired or has been redeemed on another registration.' from Prometric. Has my voucher been hacked or does MS revoke vouchers that haven't been used yet?

My understanding is that there are no more seats available for this test, so the vouchers no longer work.
