SSCP still beneficial?

I've been on indeed just doing a search on SSCP and it has come back with a 1,000 postings in the infosec sector listing the SSCP as one of the certs to have. So, I am curious, if you have the SSCP, has the certification been beneficial for you in either advancing your salary or opportunity? If not, should ISC2 just discontinue the cert going forward?
