Ping through a specific interface not working

Hi All,

I am trying to simulate multicast traffic in my lab.

The problem is, i cannot get reply when i ping to the interface like "run ping ttl 5 225.1.1.1 interface fe-0/0/0.111 bypass-routing"

I got replies when i remove "interface fe-0/0/0.111"

Do you know if additional configuration is needed or am i doing something wrong?

And also i wonder what is the difference between pinging to interface and pinging without interface
