Is the Second Shot offer an annual thing, valid from September to May?

I've Googled about Microsoft's Second Shot offer, and found a lot of year old links regarding a Second Shot cycle that went from August 2012 to May 2013. Then there was one from September 2013 to May 2014. Have there only been two Second Shot offers thus far, or has it been around for a while? Would it be realistic to expect a new Second Shot period to appear around August/September of this year that will expire in May 2015?

Really hope so too, it has been the case before so hoping MS will repeat it this year too.
