Duplex Mismatches

Hi Guys,

I started to receive some mismatch duplex errors in GNS3. Normally I would just turn these off however I decided to take a peek.
Can someone explain what the difference is between

duplex full & full-duplex

R1(config-if)#duplex full
R1(config-if)#full-duplex

For the life of me I cannot find anything on this and always went with duplex full.

To specify full-duplex mode on full-duplex single-mode and multimode port adapters, use the full-duplex command in interface configuration mode. To restore the default half-duplex mode, use the no form of this command.
