in CCNA & CCENT
Hello everyone,
so a while ago i bought the CCNA training books from Wendell Odom, it's the 3rd edition but is for 640-822(for ICND1). I know that this exam is retired and the new one for CCENT is 100-101, can i still use this book to help me or will there be some major changes?
I am going for ICND1 first and then 2, not the CCNA in one shot.
Thank you for your input!

Vask3n Member Posts: 517There are some pretty big differences between the two, but you might be able to use the old book just to get some fundamentals which would be common between the two exams.
I think one of the major differences is the inclusion of IPv6 in the new ICND1, where it was more of an ICND2 topic previously.
If you want to get an idea of how different they are, compare the two exam blueprints.
