DMA and I/O
What are the Main I/O addresses we need to know for the Core hardware?
Do we just need to know Starting address or whole range?
Im trying to make a review sheet for, IRQ's, I/O's and DMA's
where it would be like this.
IRQ0 = System Timer
DMA4 = DMA Controller.

Matt_Smi Member Posts: 111 ■■■□□□□□□□You should also know the I/O's for the primary and secondary IDE controllers and LPT1 as well as LPT2. I spent a lot of time memorizing most of them and didn’t get any questions on them, but that doesn’t mean you wont. I also only got maybe 3 IRQ questions and there were all about COM ports.
