Virtual PC
When I called Microsoft to ask if they had any free trial versions of the old OS you have to study for the exam they said no, but instead they sent me this program "Virtual PC" that actually runs all the operating systems from XP to DOS.
With 45 day trial I think its more than enough to study for the A+ exam, I guess most of you are familiar to this, but just in case I wanted to recomend it to those who are not.

Yeah, Virtual PC is pretty well-known by now, just as VMWare. However, although it is able to run different OSs simultaneously, it doesn 'not' include the actual operating systems. -

Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminIt's still worth recommending. Apart from being able to install multiple operating systems on Virtual PCs without requiring multiple computers, you can network those virtual PCs which allows you to create homelabs for various exams.

Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminIf you have access to Windows 2000 and XP, and have a good study guide that covers the most important topics regarding Win9x/ME, you got most of it covered. And you don't need DOS...
