in MCSA/MCSE: Security
Has anyone taken 70-299 Implementing and Administering Security in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network? If so, how did it compare to other entry level security exams?

    I took it about a year ago, passed it on the first try and did no studying for it other than glancing over the test objectives. Here's the thing, when I took it I spoke to a few of the MCTs at my last job and the thought at the time was there were 2 or 3 different variations of the exam, real easy and real hard. I must've lucked out and got the real easy one, b/c I recommended the exam to a student when I was working in orlando, and he bombed it with a 480 or something real bad whereas I passed with a 750.

    I haven't worked for that bootcamp/testing center in about 9 months so I haven't kept up with the new pass rates.

    What advice I can offer you from speaking with colleagues is that the MS Press book for 70-299 is fantastic for preperation.
