theodoxa Member Posts: 1,340 ■■■■□□□□□□BGP uses static neighbors - You have to manually configure neighborships. EIGRP and OSPF establish Neighborships/Adjacencies by exchanging messages. You can also configure static neighbors in EIGRP or OSPF, but this isn't necessary on a Broadcast Network (Ethernet) and Frame Relay has other workarounds (Pseudo-Broadcast) that can be utilized.
