Reapplying for a job I interviewed for once

My wife and I moved from Indiana to Maryland 3 weeks ago tomorrow so she could start a prestigious new job. In the weeks before we left, I did some remote job hunting and did a few phone interviews but they all wanted people to start sooner than I would be in town.
Well, one of them has just reposted an opening for one of those jobs I interviewed for. It seems like a good gig and so I'm going to reapply. The one thing I'm not sure of is whether I should include in the cover letter that I spoke with three people there about six weeks ago. What do you think? Is that bad form?
