Reapplying for a job I interviewed for once

My wife and I moved from Indiana to Maryland 3 weeks ago tomorrow so she could start a prestigious new job. In the weeks before we left, I did some remote job hunting and did a few phone interviews but they all wanted people to start sooner than I would be in town.

Well, one of them has just reposted an opening for one of those jobs I interviewed for. It seems like a good gig and so I'm going to reapply. The one thing I'm not sure of is whether I should include in the cover letter that I spoke with three people there about six weeks ago. What do you think? Is that bad form?

If you still have someone's contact info that you spoke with I'd go straight to them.

I agree. Follow up and let them know you are in the area now and very much interested in the company.

    Good Luck!
