Hi all, been hovering around these forums for a while and thought I'd sign up! I'm interested in exploring the avenues of InfoSec. Its a career move I'd like to make. Currently I've been doing 1/2/3rd line support/admin for the last 10years. I have completed 8 MCP's in the last few years including MCITP 2008 / EX2010. I have a good understanding of AD/Networks/Server etc. I'm quite a jack of trades master of none! Which I would very much like to change.....
There seem to be a lot of different certs to go for. Would it be worth my while starting with the Comptia Security + ?
