laptop requirements

Just received the email to confirm the laptop requirements. What is a very very very very very basic (non expensive) laptop that I could purchase for this class? I have a laptop but it's a tad on the expensive side and would rather keep it home.

Just load you up a VM. Vmware workstation/player was all I needed for GSEC and appears all I need for GCIA.

Actually most of the class is done from vmware workstations

Maybe if you posted a link to the laptop requirements somebody might have a low cost laptop in mind.
