Centralized Cert Platform

I'm really surprised that this doesn't exist yet (although maybe it does and someone will correct me), but wouldn't it be nice if there was a platform that stored or allowed us to log all of our certifications in a single place. Seems like every vendor has their own portal, own login, etc. Basically they are all storing the same info; cert name, date obtained, date of expiry. Seems like a centralized platform would allow IT pros to create a profile with a single login and post all of their certs. Addons to such a platform might include job postings or a skills matrix (for which certs don't exist or don't apply).
Seems like this would be a nice extension of LinkedIn (or a solid product for an easy M&A)

Cisco, Juniper, CompTIA , VMWare and LPI to name a few... -

There is the TechCertRegistry, which I signed up for but haven't used since... the website isn't that great but it does something like you describe. -

lol perfect find....this is a great example of why we need something like this platform. This site's main page looks like it was designed in 1999, it's a non-profit, and the second link produces their site with a Java error and **** (clearly no security). Gotta love it... -
