Why there are always failed when itcomes to following the tutorial, is there any problem with the software that Iam using? It failes when I am converting Server Core to Full Installation or with Gui, my syntax was right because it loads, then after 60% it failed

Import -Server Module
You have to make sure that you type that command before you convert it."It's better to try and fail than to fail to try." Unkown

Ensure you have imported the servermanager module, server 2012 ideally should automatically import it though you may not (for some odd reason) have it installed. Also if still an issue post the terminal text you have. -

This may be the solution:

I had a similar issue and decided to re-install the OS with full GUI (I thought it would be quicker) and I think I'd install GUI by default in future. -
aaronchristenson Member Posts: 261 ■■■■□□□□□□I found there is a flaw in the conversion. If you start with the core edition and try to go to the gui version it fails, but if you start with the gui and want to go to core that works then go back to gui and that works. The problem is starting with core.Aaron
